Shedding Made Easy
Thanks to Lori for forwarding this delightful FURminator video.
One of her friends used the FURminator on her dog, and swears the dog lost 10 lbs. of fur. Quite something. Take a look.

Hi! I'm told excessive use of furminator spoils fur texture. Is that correct?

Hi Kasturi,
I did a google search and a quick look on some forums, but didn't find any mention of texture problems. One groomer suggested being careful not to irritate the skin.
Other than that, people are really pleased with the FURminator, how it works, and how it helps their dogs and their own lives.

Dude, I love my FURminator! We got it about a year ago, on the recommendation of our local pet store. They had sold out in just a few days, but they offered to loan us the floor model. We brought it home and were hooked. The amount of hair that comes off Roo is amazing. He still gets fur all over the house (oh, the joys of dogs!), but it's definitely improved. Best of all, Roo thinks it's just a friendly massage!

Hi everyone.
I received my FURminator that I ordered from following the links here and am really pleased! My dog has very sensitive skin so I just have to remember not to be too rough with the comb, but this product really works.
